Pharmacology Study Aid
If you are in the pharmacology unit like I am or just need a refresher, check this song out. Please note, it is from a British medic pair so there are some different drug names. So classy!

Smart-ass comments welcome!
[Note: this is cross-posted to vets2be]

Since I've been hearing it already, and I'm going to be hearing it the rest of my life, I decided I need some smart-ass replies to the inevitable phrase, "Oh, so you're not a REAL doctor?"
Because if you can't beat 'em, laugh at 'em. ;) Please, if you have any suggestions, pass them along!

Some of the ones I've already got to get you started:
"Real doctors treat more than one species."
"No, I just do twice the work for half the pay and the same amount of school loans."
"No, but I play one on t.v."
"Only REAL doctors go into work expecting to get shit on every day." (Or alternatively, expecting their patients to give them crap every day)
"No, I'm just a better diagnostician."
"I know more about zoonotic diseases than your 'real' doctors could ever dream of. Washed your hands lately?" (Or alternatively, "No, we're just the ones you'll be turning to for help when the bird flu pandemic starts wiping out human populations left and right" but that seemed a little too antagonistic/political to get into, especially given the lack of scientific data on the subject)

Critiques, comments, new suggestions welcome! :)

Advice?
Hi, I'm just starting my second year at Ohio State's vet school in the US. I've got cardiology and respiratory this quarter, and I think they're both going to be really hard for me. Anyone have suggestions on getting through these classes? Resources that you found helpful?

Thanks for any advice you can offer!

Hi!
I guess great minds think alike, around exam time...
I'm a student at the Uni of Glasgow Vet School, and, oddly enough, just started a community for funny quotes vet students say because I wanted to share them with everyone else (and because I'm avoiding studying for exams, what else is new?) and finally, because I hadn't seen this one yet. Anywho...I'm a first year from the States, in Glasgow, about to take the Candlemas exam for Biomolecular and looking forward to going lambing at the end of the week.

Hello World
Hello Vet Students!  I have no idea why, but there isn't a community for vet school students... so I made one.  I currently attend The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Edinburgh.  I'm doing the first 2 years of the 5 year program in one, so I don't know how I have time to be typing this up, but here I am.  I hope this community really takes off!
